FIND YOUR LOOK
A reflective appearance for a color change or accent. Compare solid gloss colors with metallic and patterned options, then view a sample in daylight and shade.
Shop gloss →Explore lower-sheen matte finishes and the softer reflection of satin. Choose compatible care products to preserve the intended surface appearance.
Shop matte & satin →Explore chrome, color-shift, carbon-look and graphic options. Plan material direction across adjacent panels and confirm application guidance for the exact design.
Explore gradients →Screen images are a starting point. Compare the swatch booklet’s current contents with your chosen SKU, and ask about a specific design if it is not included. Carbon-look vinyl is decorative film, not structural carbon fiber.

Measure the piece plus the edges you intend to cover. Confirm the smallest available cut suits your layout and leave enough material for handling and trimming.
Check both dimensions against the roll, including curved areas and edge returns. For directional or patterned films, confirm orientation before deciding how the panel will be cut.
Map the panels, bumpers and mirrors into a cut plan. Have your installer confirm roll width, total length, seams and waste allowance for the actual vehicle and selected film.
Square footage alone is not a cut plan. A piece can have enough total area and still be too narrow for a panel. Confirm quantity before ordering; tools and labor may be separate.
PREPARE FOR YOUR PROJECT
This VicrezDriver guide explains why a color change does not straighten a damaged panel and what to discuss with your installer.

Gloss creates a reflective appearance, matte gives a lower-sheen look, and satin falls between the two. Metallic, chrome, color-shift and patterned films add other visual effects. A product can belong to more than one finish group. Compare a physical sample in different lighting and read the exact film’s specifications and care instructions.
Measure the panels you plan to cover and build a cut layout using the selected roll’s actual width and length. Allow for curves, edges, trimming, pattern direction and installation waste. Total area alone does not show whether a panel fits across the roll. Full wraps vary with vehicle dimensions, bumpers, roof layout and technique; ask your installer to confirm the quantity before ordering.
The Vicrez Vinyl Color Catalog Sample Swatch Booklet is available to help compare finishes. Check its current contents and availability: a booklet may not include every newer design. Photos, screens, lighting and production batches can affect how a color appears. For a large project, confirm the exact SKU and ask about matching material for adjacent panels.
Vinyl changes the surface appearance; it does not repair the panel underneath. Dents and other imperfections may remain visible, and weak or peeling paint can create adhesion and removal problems. Have an installer assess repainted, damaged, oxidized or coated surfaces before choosing a film or booking the job.
These films are generally sold as material to measure, cut and apply, rather than a vehicle-specific pre-cut kit. Check the selected product and size. Small accents can be a starting project for someone with suitable tools and experience; a full vehicle, complex curves or directional patterns require more planning. Follow the exact film’s preparation, application and finishing instructions, and consider a professional installer.
Service life depends on the specific film, installation, surface condition, exposure and maintenance. Check the product’s stated durability and any warranty terms instead of assuming one lifespan for every finish. Follow its cleaning guidance, use compatible products and avoid abrasive treatment. Removal also depends on film age and paint condition; ask an installer to assess it rather than assuming removal is damage-free.
No. Decorative vinyl is primarily selected to change color, finish or pattern. Paint protection film is a separate product category intended for paint protection. Do not assume a vinyl color-change film has a PPF product’s impact resistance, thickness or self-healing properties. Confirm the material and intended use on the exact listing, especially when comparing clear film, tint and decorative wraps.
Confirm the color/SKU, roll width and length, quantity, availability, delivery estimate and current return terms. A listed starting price may be for a small cut or sample rather than the material for a full car. Check whether tools and installation are separate. Inspect the film and resolve any size, color or condition concerns before cutting or applying it.
